The District of Lantzville is developing a new Active Transportation Plan to improve walking and cycling connections between neighbourhoods, the village core, and Nanaimo. By encouraging human-powered travel, the plan promotes healthier lifestyles and boosts local businesses through increased foot and bike traffic.

Public Engagement

Round 1 Public Engagement work was conducted in October/November 2025. Please see the Round 1 Engagement Report with survey results.

Round 2: On Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 3:00pm-6:30pm, District representatives will be at Costin Hall, 7232 Lantzville Road, for a public engagement session. Come by to see what is developing and provide your feedback and ideas!
