Facility Rentals in Lantzville

The District of Lantzville does not rent rooms or facilities; however, here are some community contacts for you to check out when you wish to rent a room or facility:

Aspengrove School

Here is a copy of the Aspengrove School (Central Island Independent School Society) & District of Lantzville - Community Use Agreement. The Agreement describes the opportunity for Community Users (any not for profit social service, community or cultural organization currently active and based in the District of Lantzville) to rent Facilities (Field, Classroom Facilities or Gymnasium). Costin Hall (Community Use Building #A) is located at 7232 Lantzville Road, is District-owned facilities that are leased to and operated by the Seaside Community Society. The District has renewed its lease agreement with the Society for a further term (ending March 31, 2024 with an option to extend for three years). Costin Hall is a great place to hold meetings, dances, weddings and other recreation opportunities. Costin Hall also boasts a beautifully maintained garden in the rear of the building. The Seaside Community Society is responsible for bookings and would be pleased to provide quotes for rentals in the building. Royal Canadian Legion Seaview Centennial Branch #257

For information to rent the Hall upstairs at the Lantzville Legion at 7225 Lantzville Road, visit Lantzville Legion website or contact the Legion Office at 250.390.2108 1:00 to 4:00 pm Tuesday and Friday, leave a message, or email: legion257@shaw.ca. The Hall has access by stairs or elevator and a rental capacity of 100 with bar. A projector and screen are available.

School District #68

Here is a link to the SD #68 website for information regarding Facility Rentals at Seaview Elementary School, 7000 Lantzville School Road, including after-hours rental of SD68 facilities to community groups, rental fees and the on-line facility booking program. Rentals are based on availability - school events have priority. Multi-purpose Rooms are best for large meetings - with a capacity of 400+ persons. Visit the SD68 website for current rates for rentals and custodial fees (required for weekend rentals) or contact their office to confirm rates/fees and whether there are other users that could share the custodial fees.
