Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) Rebates!
You may be eligible for rebates for Water Stewardship, Green Building or other rebates through the RDN. The District of Lantzville is a partner in the Regional District of Nanaimo’s (RDN) Drinking Water & Watershed Protection program which offers region-wide rebates to assist residents in protecting and conserving water. The rebates are offered to residential property owners in our region which includes the municipalities of Nanaimo, Lantzville, Parksville and Qualicum Beach, as well as the surrounding Electoral Areas from Cedar in the south to Deep Bay in the north. Each rebate requires application and pre-approval, we encourage property owners in the District of Lantzville to apply early direct to the RDN, as programs often fill up and funds are limited.
Water stewardship rebates include:
- irrigation upgrades & soil improvements
- rainwater harvesting
- septic smart
- wellhead upgrades
- well water testing
Please visit www.rdnrebates.ca or contact RDN program staff at
watersmart@rdn.bc.ca or 250.390.6560, for program details and application forms.
NOTE: The RDN website also has information on rebates for green buildings and rebates from other sources.
Together we can make this a water smart region...and save you some money!
