NEIGHBOURHOOD PARKS

The Community has done an excellent job of developing a number of useful and attractive neighbourhood parks including Copley, Huddlestone and Rotary Parks. These parks provide an opportunity for the community to enjoy the surroundings of this community and are located in both Upper and Lower Lantzville.

The District of Lantzville established a Parks and Recreation Commission in 2007. The Commission is made up of 7 members - the Chair who is a Council member appointed by Council, and 6 members at large from the community. The Commission meets on a monthly basis and make recommendations to Council regarding issues such as parks, trails and recreation in the District.
