Stop the Spread!

1. Increase the frequency of hand washing and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.

2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

3. Cover your cough using the bend of your elbow or a tissue.

4. Avoid crowded places and close contact with anyone that has a fever or cough.

5. Stay at home as much as possible, particularly if you feel unwell.

6. As much as possible, only one person from your household should go out for grocery shopping.

7. Do not share food, drinks, utensils, etc.

8. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.

9. Practice physical/social distancing: Even if you are not sick, you should keep about two meters (six feet) from other people when you are outside of your home Ė no handshaking or hugging.

10. Those returning from travel outside of Canada must stay home and self-isolate for 14 days after they return.

11. Anyone who is concerned that they may have been exposed to, or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, should contact their health-care provider, 8-1-1 or use the online self-assessment tool available at Understand that most people donít need to be tested.

12. You can also download a COVID-19 app with a built-in self-assessment tool, the latest updates, trusted resources and alerts from the App Store or Google Play. If you don't have a smart phone, you can use the web version of the app.
