Electronic Regular Council Meeting

with Public Hearing at 6:00 pm

Electronically and in the Council Chamber, Municipal Hall, 2nd Floor, 7192 Lantzville Road

Council members will be participating in this meeting electronically via Zoom Webinar (per the Community Charter, Local Government Act and the Council Procedure Bylaw).

Members of the public unable to participate electronically may do so in person at the Council Chamber. However, due to limited seating you are encouraged to view the open portion of the meeting via the livestream, and to provide verbal public input on agenda items by written submission. If you must attend in the Council Chamber, please self-assess to ensure you are healthy and do not attend if you are ill. Members of the public must remain seated until it is your turn to address Council electronically.

The full Agenda will be available for viewing by the Friday preceding the Wednesday meeting date.

PUBLIC HEARING INPUT

  • Public Hearing Notice July 20, 2022

    Members of the public who believe they are affected by the proposed Bylaws and wish to provide input prior to the public hearing can submit written comments to district@lantzville.ca, mail or drop off at Municipal Hall, and MUST be received before 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, indicating the name of the bylaw(s), your name and civic address, if you are in favour or opposed to the bylaws, and any comments regarding the bylaws. All written submissions, including names and addresses, will become part of the public record, be shared with Council, and posted to www.lantzville.ca.

    PUBLIC INPUT PERIOD

    Members of the public who wish to provide input regarding agenda items can submit written comments by email to district@lantzville.ca, mail or drop off at Municipal Hall, and MUST be received before 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, providing your name, address, agenda item number / name, and comment, will become part of the public record, be shared with Council and posted to www.lantzville.ca.

    You may also provide your public input verbally during the public hearing and agenda item 6. Public Input Period by registering in advance following this Zoom Webinar "link".

    After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar for this meeting. Please note that you will be automatically muted until it is your turn to speak, your video function will not be enabled, and your name will be visible on the Zoom Webinar screen for Councilís viewing. Please bear with us as this is a new process. It is strongly recommended that if you are participating via Zoom that you use headphones in order to eliminate regenerated audio feedback during the meeting.

    Public input regarding personnel matters, legal action, nominated political candidates, applications for grants in aid or public hearing topics (except during the official public hearing) will not be included or will be severed.
